I’m back from Haven Conference!
Well, I got back on Sunday, but it’s taken until today for my brain to feel like it’s getting back to normal!

Today is another Silhouette Challenge day! Which means at the end of this post, there’s plenty more inspiration and ideas. And this month’s theme? Our favorite things. And while I’m totally humming the tune in my head from one of my favorite musicals, one of my favorite authors, and one of her novels in particular, is the inspiration behind today’s Silhouette project: subway style art that I created using Silhouette Sketch Pens.
Hello friends! I can barely contain my excitement today because… I’m headed to Haven Conference!! As you’re reading this, I’m on the road to Atlanta!
Wahooo!!!! I cannot wait to reunite with my bloggy friends, meet new ones, meet some awesome brands and soak up as much blogging and diy inspiration as possible! Whew! Something tells me I’m going to crash when I get home on Sunday 😉
If you’re not attending Haven, but want to live vicariously through me, follow me on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook to see what I’m up to! You can also search using the hashtag #havenconf to see what’s happening!
Have an awesome weekend, friends! I am sure I will have tons to share with you in the coming weeks!
Leading up to last year’s Haven Conference, I was a big ol’ ball of nerves and excitement. I was so excited to be making the leap toward being a “real” blogger by attending a blogging conference with “my people”. But I was doing it all alone. Utterly and completely alone.
My shy only-child side felt like throwing up.
Hello friends! Another week is upon us! I sure hope you got to spend some time soaking up sun, fun and family time over the holiday weekend. Our 4th of July here in Cincinnati was absolutely gorgeous, with cooler temps and plenty of summery breezes. If only we’d had a bit of sand and sea to go with it!
Today I’m over at VRAI Magazine sharing a very simple diy project: how to create your own beach inspired art! Perfect for capturing the memories of a favorite vacation spot, or just creating a little escape when you need it!
