Chili is one of our hands-down favorite meals, and one of our favorite recipes is the chili my mom always made. In fact, this might be the only chili recipe she ever made, and for good reason, because it. is. delicious. This hearty turkey chili recipe is flavorful, filling, and not too spicy, but it can definitely be made to be more spicy if that’s what you prefer.

Black Bean Soup Recipe
My mother has been making this Black Bean Soup recipe for as long as I can remember. We’d often have soup-and-sandwiches night for dinner; Mom and Dad would enjoy this soup served in her blue stoneware soup crocks, and I’d opt for something else, like Campbell’s tomato soup or clam chowder. Black beans weren’t exactly top on my favorite foods list when I was 10. (wink)
Dairy Free Lasagna Recipe
I don’t know why it’s taken me so long to try this out. I really don’t. But now that I’ve figured out a dairy free lasagna recipe, I foresee us eating a LOT of lasagna this winter season! Which is a good thing (wink).
Now you may be thinking dairy free lasagna? How? Why? Awwwhailno! But I’m here to tell you that you CAN leave it out and still make a delicious meal.
