Upcycled Spring Wall Hanging created from old records

Next to Christmas, Swap It Like It’s Hot Week is my second-favorite time of the year! If you’re new to how it works, a bunch of bloggers head to their favorite thrift stores, pick out a few items that are crying out for a makeover, then ship them off to another blogger to be transformed into something new and useful! Adorable idea for wrapping a baby shower gift! Just trace and cut shapes, then attach with mini clothespins!

Baby Shower Clothesline Gift Wrap

So adorable! Love this idea for wrapping a baby shower gift!

When I was wrapping up my gift for my friend’s baby shower a few weeks ago, I realized that I didn’t have a baby-appropriate gift bag or any rolls of wrapping paper. In fact, I’m pretty sure the only rolls of wrapping paper in our house right now are leftovers from Christmas. Whoops. Instead, I turned to a roll of plain kraft paper. I frequently see simmering pot recipes shared around the winter holidays, combining clove, cinnamon and other heart-warming seasonal scents. But the idea of a simmering pot is one you can use and change up all year long, and this is what inspired me to put a Spring spin on a few simmering pot recipes.

How to Make a Baseball Field Fruit Tray

Wow your guests with this fun and clever baseball field fruit tray. Perfect for a sports themed birthday party or baby shower!

I remember back during football season, I saw a lot of ideas for setting up vegetable party trays to look like football fields. When I started planning out details for the baby shower I hosted last month, I figured there had to be a baseball version. But much to my surprise, there were very few examples to be found! So after some thinking and sketching, the hubs and I came up with a design for a baseball field fruit tray.
