How to Find Your Tribe

your vibe attracts your tribe

You’ve probably heard about “finding your tribe” before. It seems like this phrase has really caught on in the last few years. You can even find cute lettered signs all over the home decor stores containing phrases about finding your tribe.

And Baby Makes Three

Introducing Cecilia “Celia” Marie…

Our sweet baby girl arrived on March 11 at 8:59a.m. She weighed in at 6 pounds, 13 ounces and measured 18.5 inches long.

I’m a big dates person and her birth honestly couldn’t have fallen on a more appropriate day. March 11 has always been a special day in mine and Tom’s relationship—we were set up as a blind date for my sophomore class dance in high school, which was on March 11, 2000. Exactly six years later (totally coincidental) Tom proposed to me while I was home from college for the weekend. So when my OB said my due date was March 12, I knew that our daughter would arrive on the 11th. Tom says I willed her out of me, but I think she knows how much this date means to me/us 😉

We are settling into life as a family of three (well, four, if you count the fur-baby Molly) and slowly figuring out this parenting thing! Things will be a bit quiet around here over the next month or so as I soak in the newborn snuggles and work on my new role as mommy.

Our Favorite Stops on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail

Bourbon tasting at Woodford Reserve

This year we took our tradition one step further and made it a weekend getaway to Louisville! Now that we’ve visited over half of the bourbon distilleries along the Bourbon Trail, I thought I’d share some of our favorite stops and what we enjoyed most about them.

There’s No Place Like Haven – 2016 Haven Conference Recap

I recently attended the 2016 Haven Conference in Atlanta. Read my conference recap to learn more about the sessions I took and the amazing bloggers I met!

Hello friends! Long time no post, right? The last couple of weeks have been a blur of travel and excitement, first to the Haven Conference for home & DIY bloggers in Atlanta, and then on to Panama City Beach for a family vacation. But now I’m back home, doing loads of laundry and planning out what I want to do here on the blog for the rest of this year.

I thought today I’d share more about my trip to the 2016 Haven Conference and what I took away from it this year (which was a ton, as usual!).
