Today is our daughter’s first birthday! I can’t believe she is already one. This first year has definitely gone by quickly, though I will say there were some days that felt long, haha! My husband and I both agree that we barely remember those early weeks. Must have been the sleep deprivation, right?
We are celebrating her birthday with family and friends later this week, and of course I’ve loved coming up with a theme (narwhals!) and working on decorations for her party. If you like party posts, stay tuned—I’ll be sharing those details soon.
To celebrate her first birthday, I thought it’d be fun to do a giveaway featuring three of our favorite handmade baby shops that I’ve discovered over the past year. I’ve loved these products so much, some of them have become my go-to gifts for baby showers! I’ve also had the pleasure to meet all three of the wonderful women who run these businesses, and it’s so special to be able to support fellow entrepreneur and small-biz mamas!
Let me introduce them…
Evie ‘n Lizzie
First up is Rachel, the creative mind and maker behind Evie ‘n Lizzie, a shop that offers boutique quality clothing for girls of all sizes. Her shop includes adorable dresses, pants and skirts in an array of fun prints and colorful fabrics. She is also open to custom requests, and was so sweet to offer to gift our daughter a special birthday dress. Together we found the perfect fabric and Rachel crafted it into the cutest little sundress that Celia can wear all spring and summer long!
(Yep, those are narwhals!)
OBT Love
As soon as I found out we were expecting a girl, I immediately began collecting cute hair bows and headbands. One of my favorite shops for these is OBT Love. I love Maddie’s selection of felt florals, fabric bows, velvet bows, and snap clips. Celia’s hair is too fine for clips right now, so these nude nylon headbands are perfect! They make adorable gifts, too!
Spampy Baby Co.
Celia absolutely loves her Spampy Baby Co. pacifier clips. She is constantly putting everything in her mouth, and I feel better knowing Meg makes her clips using food grade silicone beads. Celia’s favorite paci clip is the one with the butterfly on it (also silicone) because those wings are perfect for a teething baby! The pacifier clips are available in a couple different lengths (the midi length is great for crawlers) and so many cute color combinations! We also love the longer stroller clip when we’re out for a walk or heading someplace like the zoo. Meg takes custom orders, too, so you can request any color you like, or have her make a custom set for a mama-to-be!

My favorite memory from a childhood birthday was having it at Choo Choo’s.
Choo Choo’s was so much fun!
Happy Birthday sweet little Celia!
I can’t believe that sweet girl is one! We can’t wsit for her party on Saturday!
My favorite birthday memory is swimming at my Grandparents with my sisters and cousins. My birthday was always celebrated with the 4th so you know I loved making a week out of celebrations, haha.
Hahaha, it is really a birthday if you can’t turn it into a birthday week?? (or month!) 😀
Such a good giveaway!! Can’t believe your cutie is 1 already!
I know! That was a quick year!
Love this giveaway! Baby gifts galore,
My favorite childhood birthday was taking a few friends to a hotel with a pool for an overnight stay.
That sounds so fun! What a great party idea!
Happy birthday!
