Tis the season for sweets!
And do I have something delicious to share with you today! I baked up a batch of these scrumptious Peanut Butter Crunch Cookies with Chocolate Drizzle for a fun event that’s happening across blogland today—a Christmas Cookie Recipe Swap! It’s sort of like a cookie exchange, but since it’s happening online, we’re swapping recipes instead of actual cookies.
The holiday season is in full swing! I’ve been busy decorating the house and tree, and trying to get gifts purchased so I can start wrapping! I should probably also be writing up my Christmas cards… But when Fox19 asked me to come on and share a few holiday entertaining ideas, I just couldn’t say no!
My visions never come to life as I expect them to. Take our Christmas mantel: for months, I was envisioning a sort of rustic woodlands type of setting. Plenty of evergreens, frost-covered branches, textures of wood and fur. Basically like Pottery Barn Ski Lodge. But, in true Emily fashion, that’s not what I wound up with! Instead, it came to life as more of a Snowy Wonderland Christmas Mantel. But, it looks pretty beautiful (in my humble opinion), so I’m okay that I strayed from my own vision!
