Hello friends! Another week is upon us! I sure hope you got to spend some time soaking up sun, fun and family time over the holiday weekend. Our 4th of July here in Cincinnati was absolutely gorgeous, with cooler temps and plenty of summery breezes. If only we’d had a bit of sand and sea to go with it!
Today I’m over at VRAI Magazine sharing a very simple diy project: how to create your own beach inspired art! Perfect for capturing the memories of a favorite vacation spot, or just creating a little escape when you need it!
Now, I’ve said before that I’m really more of a mountains girl. And while I do prefer the mountains, I won’t turn down a sunset walk on the water or a boardwalk by the beach, the sound of the waves lapping the shore, and a cold drink in my hand.
And it’s just this type of scene that makes for a perfect translation from photograph to painted canvas.
Head over to VRAI Magazine for the full step-by-step!

Sitting on the beach relaxes me so much and looking at your painting has the same effect. I can almost hear the ocean waves. Love it!
