In keeping with all of the Swap It Like It’s Hot fun happening this week, I’m sharing how I turned this pineapple wall plaque into a kitchen trivet using glass mosaic tiles. If you have a random wood wall plaque or scrap of wood lying around and want to make your own DIY trivet, then today is your lucky day (wink).
This is one of my favorite weeks of the year! Swap It Like It’s Hot is back for Round 4, and this time, there are 40 bloggers joining in the fun all week long! How does it work? Well, we head out to the thrift store, find some unique items for about $10, and ship them off to another blogger who will turn them into something amazing!

Now that the interior of our home is decked out for Fall (check out our Fall home tour here), it was time to turn out attention to the exterior! I kept our Fall porch decor pretty simple, as I usually do, with some pretty mums and clusters of pumpkins.
