Early Fall Mantel Decor
Confession: I’m surprising myself left and right with my updated Fall mantel decor. Firstly, these decorations were up before the month of September even began. I’m never this ahead-of-the-game. I used a lot of lighter wood tones, which I rarely do, and some new flea market finds. I don’t even know who I am anymore!
But I totally love how this Fall mantel decor came together. And I think it’s perfect for “Early Fall”. It’s light, bright and full of texture! Oh, and purple, of course (wink).
Life Letters: On Being Cautiously Optimistic
It’s been a while since I’ve shared a health update, but there have been appointments and decisions filling up my calendar and my mind all summer. My last post was about my surgery and recovery (if you have no idea why I had surgery, it was to remove an acoustic neuroma tumor from my inner ear/brain). I had just started therapy to help me regain my balance and loosen up my neck muscles. I attended therapy sessions for a few weeks and by the time I was released, I was feeling about 85% – 90% back to normal, or at least my new normal.
Country Living Fair Columbus Ohio Ticket Giveaway
Even though I have mixed feelings about Fall, I am pretty darn excited that the Country Living Fair in Columbus, Ohio, is only weeks away. I absolutely love fairs like this one—tons of vendors selling unique, handmade goods and upcycled treasures. Is there any better way to spend a weekend? I think not.
