One of the incredible benefits of social media is the ability to discover and follow so many creative talents. My Instagram feed is full of inspiring artists, decorators and DIYers, and I am constantly adding to my list. As I grow and explore more artistic outlets, I have come across 5 women in particular who never cease to amaze me with their creative talents and unique perspectives. When I need a quick break for a jolt of inspiration, these creatives are who I look to first.
Valerie McKeehan, Lily and Val / @lilyandval / @valeriemckeehan
Illustrator and hand-letterer of some of the most gorgeous and intricate chalk art I’ve ever seen.
Amy Latta, One Artsy Mama / @oneartsymama
Amy is a creative, coffee-loving gal after my own heart. Her blog is full of amazing crafts, but her hand-lettering tutorials are my personal fave.
Yao Cheng, Yao Cheng Design / @yaochengdesign
Incredible watercolor artist with a light, carefree style. Her tutorials are top-notch.
Sarah Ramberg, Sadie Seasongoods / @sadieseasongoods
I am always amazed at Sarah’s ability to reimagine thrift store finds into beautiful new pieces. Take for instance, wooden necklace pendants made from vintage tennis racket handles!
Rachel Hinderliter, Lines Across / @linesacross
Rachel’s love of color and her playfully creative perspective are irresistible. Her feed is full of all things bright and bold.
One of the benefits of blogging is finding all these talented folks who inspire us. #merrymonday
