So, I was planning to share the next installment of my house tour today. Buuut… I’ve been busy / sidetracked by prepping for my Gatsby style birthday party next weekend. You may have caught a couple of the shots above on Instagram.
I’m not the type that makes a big deal over birthdays. We usually go out for dinner with our parents and exchange a gift or two. But, I am turning 30 in less than 2 weeks. And I want to throw myself a bash! I mean, it’s a whole new decade! This deserves a little celebration, right?
If you haven’t guessed yet, my party has a theme: The End of My Roaring Twenties. We’re gettin’ all Jazz Age up in here! And so I’ve been busy crafting up some gold Gatsby-inspired decor to help me ring in my thirties! Things might be a little quiet around here next week once party prep gets into full-swing. I’ll be sure to share all of the details with you after, but in the meantime, keep checking my Instagram feed for more #goldgoldgold, because #gatsbygotnothingonme.
Oh wow! I love the party theme…it even took me a second to connect “the end of the roaring 20s” with the end of your ACTUAL 20s (it’s late here). But the concept is truly brilliant! I cannot WAIT to see the gold glitz and glam you whip up for party decor. Turning 30 is definitely a reason a celebrate. (As someone who is now over a year into her 30s, I can say with confidence, you have a lot to look forward to!) Will definitely keep an eye on Instagram! 😉

I wish I could take credit for this brilliant idea, but alas, browsing Pinterest is all it took! I just hope the whole thing comes together the way I’m picturing it in my head!! And I definitely think my 30s will be my best decade yet 😉
