Day 4 of our Holiday Craft Party is all about wreaths! A few weeks ago, I got this idea in my head for mini grapevine wreath napkin rings and just could not let it go! Does that ever happen to you? Well, I’m glad I couldn’t shake it, because I absolutely adore how these turned out. The variety of the golds, crystals and pearls is so lovely and sparkly—perfect for the holidays, and even New Year’s Eve!
So, let me show you how I made these grapevine wreath napkin rings, and then make sure you check out the other wreath projects that my bloggy friends are sharing today!

How to make mini grapevine wreath napkin rings
Materials Needed:
- 1.5″ vine wreaths
- long nose pliers
- assortment of metallic berry branches and crystal picks
Tutorial:
1.) Start by cutting individuals berries and crystals from their stems, leaving an inch or so of wire attached.
2.) One by one, poke the berries and crystals through the grapevine wreath, clustering them as close together as possible.
3.) Using your long nose pliers, twist the wire ends around the vines to secure the berries and crystals to the wreath.
Add as many berries and crystals as you like (I used about 10 or 11 on each wreath). You can fill the whole wreath if you like; I preferred to keep mine clustered at one side.
This mix of metallics is perfect for any holiday, from Thanksgiving to New Year’s Eve. But I especially love sparkly and shine for Christmas. Last year, I decked our dining room in bright whites, sparkling silvers and mercury glass, and I’ll be doing something along those lines again this year. But now with pretty napkin rings to jazz up each place setting!
