I Heart Handmade: February Umba Box

Feb Umba Box

I know, I know. I owe you a proper diy or craft or decorating post or something. I’ve had a hard time getting back into the grove, especially after returning from our escape to Florida. Ever since we got home it’s been Polar-Vortex this and 3-inches-of-ice that. And every part of me just wants to curl up with carbs and a blanket and hibernate for a few more months. But at least the cold, short winter days are made a little brighter by the arrival of another Umba Box!

And February did not disappoint!

Why yes, that is an amazingly scrumptious Sinfully Delicious double chocolate brownie. And it didn’t last a day.

The French Lavender soap by Noon Design Shop smells like a spring day in a lavender field. Which is especially appreciated during these super-cold, grey days. And it fits perfectly in the sweet ceramic hummingbird dish by Source and Tradition.

You can find out more about these artists and products here, here, and here.

What little delights are brightening up your grey wintery days?

Ooooooh I love lavender! Though funny/gross story… we bought “lavender” scented poop bags for Luther and ever since Alex just CANNOT smell anything with a lavender scent because he instantly thinks of… dog poop! I still like the smell of real lavender though… because the bags smell like air freshener, ya know?! Sorry if that was like waaaaaaaaay too much information…

Baahahahahaha! I love this story, Thalita! The smell of real lavender and air freshener lavender is very different! Maybe you can get Alex back on board with some real, fresh lavender 😉 Too funny!
