Hello friends! Can you believe we’ve got less than two weeks until Christmas!? My home is all ready for the holidays, so now it’s on to shopping, wrapping and sending cards! While I was busy decorating the inside of our home (full tour to come later this week), I had to pop outside and add some festive touches there as well. My Christmas porch decor this year is inspired from some sweet vintage-style holiday pieces I’ve been collecting. I hope you like it as much as I do!
I was so smitten with our fall porch this year, that I was actually pretty sad to dismantle it. But the pumpkins were beginning to rot, so clearly they couldn’t stay on display forever! As I started pulling out a few of my favorite holiday decorations, I got excited for how I could use them on our porch this year.
I kept the same galvanized bucket I used on our fall porch and decided to fill it with evergreens and ornaments.
I picked up the Flexible Flyer sled at a vintage shop a few years ago with the intention of refinishing it. But the old worn look has really grown on me, so I decided to leave it just as it it! This year, I added a swag of fresh evergreens and a pretty plaid bow.
The vintage-style post box is a treasure I brought home from the Country Living Fair this year. As soon as I saw it, I knew it would perfectly complement the sled on my holiday porch!
We have lots of twinkling white icicle lights and a lighted garland framing our front door. I’ve had this faux evergreen wreath for ages, but this year I updated it with some small white poinsettias and vintage-style wired ribbon that I folded into scallops and attached with floral wire.
The final touches are a live red poinsettia I brought out from inside to add an extra pop of color. Doesn’t it look perfect in this pretty “Joyeux Noel” galvanized bucket that I bought from Fontini of Farmhouse Chic at a barn sale earlier this fall? I love it! And clearly I have a thing for the galvanized metal look this year! I also brought out a monogrammed concrete gift box to add some color to our steps.
I hope you enjoyed this tour of my Christmas porch decor! There’s more holiday decor to come this week, so please stay tuned!
Love this? Don’t forget to pin it!
Looks beautiful! I love the sled just the way it is and the bucket is perfection!
Thank you Amy!
