Here we are! Week 6 of the One Room Challenge is here! At the beginning, this day seemed somewhat far away, but I tell ya—those weeks flew by! But we made it, and I am excited to share my craft room reveal with you today.

In all honesty, I thought my craft room makeover would be a breeze; after all, I’d already painted the walls, assembled some shelving and sorted through some of my craft supplies when the ORC kicked off back in April. I was wrong. I found myself second-guessing some of my decisions, procrastinating on projects, adding ideas at the last-minute, and battling it out with a laser level. (Anyone who is capable of hanging a gallery wall with just one set of hands is a miracle worker). I can’t imagine how my fellow ORC-ers managed to gut and completely rearrange their rooms over the past six weeks. They deserve major kudos!

But enough of my blabbing on. Let me show you how my craft room makeover turned out!

You may have noticed that there’s one very open corner in my craft room. I didn’t get my cabinet makeover completed in time. Heck—I barely got it started in time! A combination of my procrastinating nature and underestimating the amount of work it would take to sand and paint a piece of furniture means that I didn’t get this done in time. But the good news is that the sanding process has begun, and now that the project is started, it is much more likely to get completed (wink). 

All-in-all, I’m so happy I decided to join in my first One Room Challenge—it definitely won’t be my last!

      Thank you so much, Michelle! The worst part of this project was definitely sorting through all my supplies; I had craft stuff all over our house! I’m so glad to have it all consolidated into one room; now I just have to keep it organized 😉 I’m sure your craft room will turn out awesome!

    What a fun and creative organized space! I wish I had a whole room for crafting, so your lucky you have this space for sure! Love how you creatively did the wall art on the wall! Congrats and CHEERS to us for another room done!

      Thanks so much, Charlotte! I don’t feel like I actually did a whole lot to the room, but the difference is pretty crazy! I am SO excited to get to making and crafting 😉

    I’m so excited about this space, Emily! I can’t even talk about that light – crazy cool – and I love love love how organized everything is. It all looks so good. This was my first time participating in the ORC too and I was shocked at how I behind I got on everything ha ha there were piles of stuff all over the house! So proud we made it to the finish, hugs, CoCo

      Thank you so much, Coco! I am so in love with that light – it might be my favorite part of the whole room! I feel like I didn’t have that big of a to-do list for this room and I still got really behind! But I think I’m hooked, and I’m already thinking about which room to tackle in the fall 😉

      You definitely can, Celeste! It took me a while to work up the determination to roll up my sleeves and tackle that room, but the work was absolutely worth it!
