I could spend hours and hours looking at tablescapes and table decor on Pinterest. From the simple to the lavish, from tables covered in candles to tables covered in fresh flowers, I love them all and never cease to find inspiration. Now that I’ve put together my spring mantel and entryway, it was time to turn my attentions to our dining room and freshen things up with a beautiful modern-rustic style spring tablescape.
If you saw my faux succulent centerpiece the other day, you know I hinted that I’d be using it as the centerpiece for my spring tablescape. I collected other nature-inspired elements from my craft stash and paired them with white dishes, galvanized metal chargers, and a few splashes of shimmery metallics to create a modern, rustic, almost farmhouse style spring table. It’s simple and casual, but still full of interest and texture.
I’ll keep the chatting to a minimum and let you enjoy the photos…
I used a glass cake plate to elevate the succulent centerpiece a bit. I covered the cake plate with shredded book pages and used more as “table scatter” around the votives and mossy nests.
Yes, those are mason jar lids playing the role of napkin rings. When you don’t have springy napkin rings, improvise!
I hope you enjoyed my modern/rustic/farmhouse-ish spring tablescape! What’s your favorite way to decorate your table for Spring?

Hi:
I love your creativeness. Modern farmhouse is my favorite right now.
I will love to know what brand & color the gold paint is. – on the ‘apothecary stand’, outside of vitives, & napkin rings. You didn’t state this, but I am presuming you painted them because they look to be the same gold between each other in the picture.
Thanks!
Kim
Hi Kim, I am not sure what gold paint you’re referring to? The eggs in the egg cups are speckled with gold, but I purchased these this way. I haven’t painted any of the elements on the table – the candle holders and votives are mercury glass and the napkin rings are lids from a mason jar. I hope this helps!
Oh! Well, great job in matching everything!
Thank you!
