If you have been following along with my One Room Challenge home office makeover, you know I’m planning to replace my current desk with a new one. I’ve had my current desk since I was in college, and it’s just not what I’m envisioning for my sleek, modern and artsy office space. In my recent searches, I have come across some awesome and affordable modern desks and I thought maybe you’d like to see them too!

For me, affordability plays a big role. While I believe in investing in quality pieces, I also like to get what I think is a good value for my money. For my office makeover, I am looking to spend no more than $350 on a desk, with the “sweet spot” being in the $200 – $250 range. Many of the options here fall in that sweet spot, or are even less! Woo hoo!

I have several favorites in this list, and I’ll be choosing one of these for my office. Hint: I’m really into the white-and-chrome options 😉 If white finishes aren’t your vibe, never fear! Many of these desk options come in other colors and finishes.
