It really doesn’t take much to make me laugh… it’s probably why I love a good pun. And things don’t get much punnier than around Valentine’s Day. It’s the perfect time for a cute play on words, and one of the reasons why I had to make this adorable and pun-tastic donut Valentine’s card. These are pretty easy to make, and I think you’ll have a “hole” lotta fun doing it. See what I did there?? I crack myself up!

How to make a washi tape donut Valentine’s Card
Materials Needed:
- Blank Card
- Construction Paper
- I used both tan and dark brown construction paper
- Sprinkle Washi Tape
- Single Hole Punch
- Scissors
- Glue
Tutorial:
1.) Cut a few circles from brown or tan construction paper for each donut. Size according to your card or project. I traced the outside of a roll of washi tape for the larger circles and the inside for the smaller circles.
2.) Add 3-5 rows of Sprinkle Washi Tape to a piece of scrap paper, then cut out a few imperfect circles to resemble icing. You’ll want your sprinkle circles to be slightly smaller than your donut circles.
3.) Glue a sprinkle circle to a brown donut circle, then punch a hole in the center. For larger donuts, you may need to overlap several punches. It’s okay if they look imperfect – real donuts do too!
4.) Glue one of your washi tape donuts to a blank card and write out a punny message for your Valentine or for that special donut-lover in your life!
