Last Friday, I hosted a somewhat impromptu craft night with my girlfriends. Because sometimes, you don’t need the inspiration, you need the TIME! Each girl brought along projects they haven’t gotten around to yet. We snacked, sipped on sangria, watched Frozen (not kidding), and crafted. And I finally had the time to check a fun project off my list: diy fabric wrapped letters.
This weekend kicked off my absolute favorite event of the season: Spring Planting! I don’t know what it is about roaming through greenhouses full of fresh blooms, but I love it. It’s an instant mood-lifter. A sea of inspiration. My Happy Place.

I honestly don’t know who I’d be today without my mother. She’s always been a role model, a mentor, a discipliner, and a friend. Even at 29, I still rely on my mom for so much, to teach me to sew, to tell me how to get stains out of clothes, and even to take care of me when I’m sick. Today is a pretty special day.
If you count our dating years, Tom and I have been together for 14 years. I am 29 years old, so that is pretty much half of my life. Half of my life. I have known this man.
We were awkward teenagers together. We made it through college with a long-distance relationship. And today, we’ve been married for 7 of those 14 years.
Now that the grass is green, the buds are showing, and the temps are climbing, I’m turning my attention from indoors to out! And this year, our front porch could use a little bit-o-lovin’. So I put together this Front Porch Mood Board to help me get inspired and focused.
