Okay, now let’s walk through how to make a snowman Mason jar soap dispenser!

What you’ll need:

  • Mason jar
  • Mason jar soap pump insert kit (I found mine at my local JoAnn store)
  • white acrylic craft paint that will work on glass
  • buttons
  • strip of felt
  • scissors
  • hot glue gun and glue sticks

Materials needed to make a mason jar snowman.

I started by painting my Mason jar with two coats white multi-surface satin acrylic paint, letting it dry in between coats. Once the second coat was dry, I following the bottle instructions for curing the jar in the oven. This should ensure that paint won’t flake off the glass over time.

When the jar was cooled, I used hot glue to attach three buttons to the front. Then I cut a strip of red felt to make the scarf. I simply tied it around the next of the jar, then trimmed and fringed the ends with a pair of sharp scissors.

Then assemble the pump lid and this Mason jar soap dispenser is ready for displaying! Well, once you add soap, of course!

I can’t decide if I want to use this at our kitchen sink or keep it in our powder room. Either way, it’s such an easy way to add a festive touch to your home! And I think this would make the cutest gift paired up with a holiday towel!
